Free Training Course In Gas and Oxygen Analysis Equipment From GE

GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies is offering purchasers of any products in its extensive gas analysis and oxygen analysis range the opportunity of a customized training course in the product purchased. Each course will be designed to allow new users to install, power up, calibrate and maintain instruments, with particular reference to their specific application. Training cour ses will be free of charge until the end of December.

As Doug Mitchell, global product manager, gas analysis technology, at GE, explains, “As the technology for gas and oxygen measurement becomes more sophisticated, it is important that instrument users are fully conversant with basic measuring principles and the operation and maintenance of any equipment they use. This training course program aims to address these issues to ensure that our customers derive maximum benefit and optimum performance from our products.”

GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies offers a wide range of reliable and accurate oxygen; hydrogen and flue gas analysis solutions to allow improved process efficiency, optimization of reactors and enhanced safety assurance, in all branches of the process, oil and gas, power generation and industrial sectors. Typical applications include O2 analysis for blanketing / inerting and vapour recovery in petrochemical applications, H2 analysis for hydrogen cooled generators in power generation; and flue gas O2 and combustibles analysis to optimise combustion efficiency.

Customers taking part in the course will be given an overview of the total product portfolio of GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies in terms of flow, pressure and gas and moisture instruments before being introduced to the principles of parameter measurement and gas analysis. They will then learn how to install their particular sensor, how to start it up, calibrate it and maintain it.
